Bonnie Lowe MARION-Bonnie Lowe, 77, of Marion passed away at 11:52 PM, Saturday, June 5, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Scott Kallem and Reverend Bob Parker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Big Prairie Cemetery in Carmi. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Bonnie was born on August 23, 1932 in Sesser to Amon Alvin & Edith Elizabeth (Kirkpatrick) White. She married Walter W. Lowe on November 24, 1949 in Carmi; he preceded her in death on February 7, 1996. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Tracey Lowe of Marion; daughters, Paula J. Lowe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Melissa Neuman of Johnston City; grandchildren, Rick and Renee Lowe, Jennifer Long, Ryan Lowe, Natalie Lowe, Tahnee McCabe, Lexie Hearn, Gena and Blake Wright, Jeffrey Neuman, Elizabeth Neuman and Olivia Grace Neuman; great grandchildren, Kerington Long, Macy Lowe and Gavin Lowe; sisters, Daveline Easterly, Barbara Davis, Esther Andrade and Scheerie Rovai; and brothers, Richard, John and David White. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Walter Stephen Lowe; sisters, Dena Pardue and Elaine White; and brothers, Jackson and Gary Timothy White. Bonnie was a longtime member of the Third Baptist Church in Marion. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, quilting and reading. She was a very loving Mother and Grandmother.
