Bonita Sue Bond MARION-Bonita Sue Bond, 78, of Marion passed away at 5:20 AM, Friday, August 25, 2006 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion, her son-in-law, Bob Fuson will give the eulogy and Reverend Roger Ellsworth will officiate. Visitation will be from Noon until 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Bond was born September 1, 1927 in Marion, Illinois to Fred A. and Gladys (Clayton) Edwards. She married Dale Bond on March 29, 1947 in Marion; together they shared 52 years of marriage before his death on June 27, 1999. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Rhoda Bond of the Lake of Egypt; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne “Jody” and Bob Fuson of Benton; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ron Broeking of Marion; grandchildren, Erin Corder, Chad Fuson and Carrie and Ben Cox; and triplet great grandchildren, Korben, Korinn and Kiley Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Blanche Edwards. Mrs. Bond was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Marion. She was a homemaker.
