Bobbie Wolaver

Marion - Bobbie F. Wolaver, 77, of Creal Springs, passed away Saturday, July 14th at 1:40pm at the Heartland Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Funeral services for Mr. Wolaver will be held at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Tuesday, July 17th at 11am. Burial will follow at the County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs. Rev. Jeff Treat and Rev. Loyd Younkin will officiate. There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home on Monday, July 16th from 5 until 8pm. Mr. Wolaver was born on November 19th, 1934, in Johnson County, the son of Elmer and Cora (Cox) Wolaver. He married Betty Moss in Chicago on October 5th, 1965. She preceded him in death on August 1st, 2001. Mr. Wolaver was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed his farm, where he raised champion hounds and award winning horses. Survivors include: Son: Jason Wolaver of Creal Springs Daughter: Phillip and Pam Wolaver-Girdner Daughter: Jennifer (Wolaver) Wilson of Marion Gradnchildren; Vicki Brown, Madison Wilson, and Jarrett Wolaver Great grandchildren Gavin Brown and Carlee Brown He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, his sister Lucille Konoff and his brothers; Cecil Wolaver, Jack Wolaver, Bud Wolaver, Jerry Wolaver and Billy Wolaver.
