Bob Hudgens MARION-Bob Hudgens, 76, of Marion, passed away at 12:54 PM, Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Edward “Shorty” Alsip and Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Bob was born on December 23, 1933 in Williamson County to Lawrence and Velma (Newton) Hudgens. He married Jewell Ice; she survives. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Starla Clarke of Marion & her children, Sean Clarke & Kourtney Clarke of Kansas City, Missouri and great-grandson, Travis Clarke; step-son, Keith Ice of Marion and his daughter Samantha; step-daughter, Kathy Tripp of Marion, her son Benji, and his children McKenna & Brendon. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob served in the United States Army and was a retired Letter Carrier for the Marion, IL post office. He enjoyed playing his guitar and collecting Indian artifacts.
