Billie D. Foster MARION-Billie D. Foster, 76, of Marion passed away at 10:35 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Bob Nolen officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Billie was born on April 10, 1934 in Williamson County to Emmit and Bessie Morine (Clendenin) Foster. He married Betty Jean Chamness on April 3, 1953; she preceded him in death on July 4, 2009. Survivors include son, Gary Foster of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Louis Lamphere of Marion; grandson, Josh Foster; brothers, Emmit Foster and John Foster both of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Billie was a member of Spillertown Baptist Church. He worked in the construction field for many years. He was an avid gardener and was well known for his produce. He enjoyed spending time with his friends.
