Beverly Sue Mahan

Beverly Sue Mahan, age 80 of Marion, Illinois went to her heavenly home on October 29, 2022, with her loving family by her side.

Beverly was born July 29, 1942, in Maywood, Illinois.

She is survived by her father, Andy (Beulah) Huff of Marion, IL; her children:  Scott (Pam) McReynolds of Loudon, TN, Kim Whitehead of Harrisburg, IL, Tim (Melanie) McReynolds of Anna, IL and Tina Walker of Alton, Illinois.  Her grandchildren: Nathan McReynolds, Ethan (Caitlin) McReynolds, Brandi (Chad) Cross, Ashley Owen, Lynsey Cross, Travis McReynolds, Hunter (Samantha) McReynolds, Cody (Toni) Rohlfing, Brandon McReynolds, and Derrick McReynolds.  Her great-grandchildren:  Kaitlyn Cross, Amarian Owen, Jaxon Owen, Maddison Ellis, Kaydence Ellis, Harlow McReynolds, Ryleigh McReynolds, and Jasper McReynolds.  Her sister Judy (Mick) Plummer, Special Sister Pat (Roy) Eastwood, Special Sister-in-Law Judy Webb, and her precious baby (dog) Sandy.

Beverly was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Deon McReynolds; Sons-in-Law Bill Cross and Dennis Whitehead; mother, Ludene Burlison; son Rickey Lee McReynolds and grandson, Silas Jones.

Beverly worked at Norge, Allens and Mattingly Care Center throughout her life. 

Her hobbies included spending time with her family, playing cards and Dominos, working puzzles, and especially fishing with family.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the great staff at Herrin Hospital for the wonderful treatment and care Beverly and her family received. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Tex Perry officiating. The visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
