Beverly Jane Colvard Rule

Beverly Jane Colvard (Adams) Rule of Marion, IL born on August 7^th, 1936 went to be with our heavenly father on September 21, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She married Frank Rule of Princeton, West Virginia on September 26^th, 1970.  They would have celebrated their 43^rd anniversary this month. After retirement they moved to Marion, IL to be close to family. She is survived by; Husband - Frank Rule of Marion Son - James Adams & wife Darlene of Marion Daughters; Linda Cantrell & Husband Marn from Wise, Virginia Amy Martin of Vienna, West Virginia Stepson - Michael Rule of Las Vegas, NV Stepdaughter - Gayla Harvey & companion Jason Thomas of Princeton, West Virginia Grand daughters -  Jody Trombley & husband Brian of Chicago, IL. Alicia Swisher & husband Thomas of Nickelsville, VA. And very devoted grand daughter Emily Adams of Marion, IL. Great grandson - Bryce Swisher of Nickelsville, VA. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and a grandson Joshua Harvey. In addition to her family, Beverly loved all of God’s creatures, crafting, cooking, holiday dinners with her family.  Last but not least, Beverly was waiting to see the first snow of the winter season – which she will now enjoy from heaven. Beverly’s wish was to be cremated and a private family service.  Blue Funeral Home of Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
