Beverly Hernbeck MARION-Beverly Hernbeck, 67, of Marion passed away at 7:46 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, June 2, 2008 at the First Apostolic Church in Marion with Reverend R. G. Walls, Reverend Samuel Latta and Reverend Steve Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery. Mrs. Hernbeck was born May 16, 1941 in Louisiana, Missouri to Thomas Milton and Lorene (Mitchell) Latta. She married Theodore Ford, who preceded her in death; she later married Paul “Don” Hernbeck and he survives. Survivors include her husband, Don of Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Art and Gina Bird; daughter and son-in-law, Geri and Rich Senter; son, Robert Bird, III; grandchildren, Jared Bird, Nastassia Bird, David Brassfield, Karsyn Bird, Benjamin Senter and Austin Senter; step-children, Pam and Bobby Underwood, Paulette and Bob Dirden, Kelly Davis and Chuck and Bunny Ford; step-grandchildren, Rob and Christy Underwood, Brandy and David Milani, Carrie and Brad Carey, Maggie Calcaterra, Marty and Mike Cameron and Casie Norris; several great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hilda and Reverend Robert Trapani and Della and Walter Huff; brother and sister-in-law, Reverend Samuel and Joyce Latta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted; and nephews, Nathan and David Trapani. Mrs. Hernbeck was an active member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion. She previously worked at Marion Wal-Mart as a Department Manager for several years. She loved to sew and worked as a seamstress.
