Beulah F. Norris MARION – Beulah F. Norris, 81, of Marion passed away at 3:36 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. According to Beulah’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no services. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Beulah was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1930 in Cave-In-Rock, IL to Albert & Grethel (Grace) Dutton. She married Wilson Jennings, Sr., who preceded her; later marrying William “Bill Jack” Norris, who also preceded. Survivors include her children, Patricia & Ron Rector, Gloria Hale, Wilson & Sheila Jennings, Perry Jennings and Nancy & Brian Smith; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband; 2nd husband and 2 grandchildren. Beulah was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, who enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking for her family. She was formerly employed in a factory, but most notably, it was through her compassion that she decided to become a caregiver for a special needs child. Beulah will be missed by all her new her.
