Betty Tisch

April 6, 1933 — December 11, 2014

Marion-Betty Tisch, 81, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center after battling a lengthy illness. Betty was born on April 6, 1933 in Herrin to Walter and Margaret (Carrigan) Brewer. She married Don Tisch on July 25, 1959 and they shared 55 years of marriage. He survives of Marion. Betty was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church. She was employed at Sangamo Electric then Olin Matheson for 22 years. Betty enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include: Husband-Don Tisch of Marion Daughters: Stacey Tisch of Marion Vikki Swain of Marion She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Brewer Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
