Betty June Mohr

Herrin Betty June Mohr, 80, of Herrin passed away on February 8, 2012 at 10:45 AM in Herrin Hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will precede the services at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Mrs. Mohr will be laid to rest in Galum Cemetery in Pinckneyville. Betty was born on Saturday, June 13, 1931 to Joseph & Harriet Elizabeth (Ballheimer) Fannin. She is survived by her children, Terry & Vicky Mohr and Dennis & Cindy Mohr all of Marion; grandchildren, Cory & Michelle Mohr of Carbondale, Aaron & Cherie Mohr of O’Fallon, Jonathan Mohr of Carmel, IN, Ryan & Lisa Mohr of Crestwood, MO, Clint & Shannon Mohr of Marion, Austin & Mary Mohr of Irmo, SC and Amelia Mohr of Murphysboro; five great-grandchildren; sister, Imogene Williams of Herrin and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Herrin and a retired real estate broker. Most recently she worked as a property manager at Century 21: J. David Thompson Realty. Betty was an animal lover, with a special affection for birds, and an avid flower enthusiast.
