Betty Deaton

MARION - Betty Alice Deaton, 87, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Marion Rehab and Nursing Center with family by her side. There will be private graveside services, with the Rev. Shorty Alsip officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Passages Hospice and may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Betty was born to Amzie and Evelyn (Bliss) Edmonds Friday, Jan. 22, 1926, in Marion. She is survived by her son, Terry and Cindy Walsh of Marion; grandchildren, Christy and husband, Matt, and Sean and wife, Kara; great-grandchildren, Gage, Lucas, Dustin, Baden and KayLynn; siblings, Ron, Dan, Charles, Don, Peggy, Pat, Colleen, Gay and Margaret. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul "Skip" Anderson and siblings, Jackie, Joe and Terry.
