Betty A. Rodgers MARION-Betty A. Rodgers, 67, of Marion passed away at 3:30 AM, Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Robby Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Rodgers was born on May 24, 1938 in Williamson County, Illinois to Dolphus Woodrow and Samelda Imogene (Presley) Grimes. She married Phillip J. `Sock` Rodgers, he preceded her in death on November 15, 1982. Survivors include sister, Shirley F. Hill of Marion; brother, Charles R. Grimes of Stiritz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Harvey Lee and Clettus Eugene Grimes. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker.
