Barbara Sue Pulley HERRIN-Barbara Sue Pulley, 65, of Herrin passed away at 8:15 PM, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Pulley was born July 29, 1942 in Metropolis, Illinois to Arvel and Jewell Fern (Glass) Mott. Survivors include her husband, Weldon Vernell Pulley, Jr. of Herrin; daughter, Brenda Kaye Simmons of Cambria and fiancé, Randy Jarvis; son, Harvey Simmons of Marion and fiancé, Tammy Peldo; daughter and son-in-law, Dianna Lynn and Ben Emery of Herrin; grandchildren, Amanda Sue and Sam Williams, Sammy Jo Simmons, Adam Lee Williams and Cody Shelton Emery; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Weldon and Pauline Pulley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tisha and Bill Bradley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Marguerite Pulley; many nieces and nephews; and her little dog, Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, William and Beulah Glass; and infant sister, Joyce Ann Mott. Mrs. Pulley worked at various jobs, mostly home health care. Her last employer and friend was Mrs. Helen Jones who passed away in 2006.
