TRENTON - Barbara J. King, 75, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, in Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery in Simpson. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to TIP Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Barbara was born Aug. 5, 1937, in Simpson to Curtis and Jeannetta (West) Wright. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Charles Hargrave of Trenton; granddaughter, Cassandra Hargrave of O'Fallon; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Linda Wright of Blairsville; nieces and nephews, Lorinda and Fred Lacy and Jeff Wright, all of Blairsville, and James and Mallory Wright of Carterville; and six great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara loved to read and was a very devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked for W3D radio station for many years and also was employed at TCT television. She ended her career with Community Care Systems.
