Audrey Helen Cagle MARION-Audrey Helen Cagle, 88, of Marion passed away at 10:30 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Jerry Schell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 4, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Cagle was born August 11, 1919 in Williamson County, Illinois to O. R. and Nettie (Mileur) Albright. She married Arthur Cagle; he preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors include her children, Arthur and Joyce Cagle of Kankakee, Fred and Jane Cagle of Energy, Donna Adams of Marion, Judy and John Billingsley of Goreville, and Dale Cagle of Marion; grandchildren, David Cagle of Bourbonnais, Karen Botkin of North Aurora, Rob Riley of Kankakee, Deb Mann of Peoria, Brad Cagle and Eric Cagle both of Herrin and Johnie Dene Edwards of Marion; and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Cagle; brothers, Gene, Wendell and Aubrey; and sisters, Lela, Bernice, Dorothy and Mabel. Mrs. Cagle was a member of Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and gardening and was well known for her apple butter. She deeply loved her family and will be missed by all.
