Archie Walters

ARCHIE THOMAS WALTERS age 91 of Woodridge, IL. An Army Veteran, a member of the "Traffic Club of Chicago'' and an active member of the "TOTs organization". Archie worked for the Wabash Railroad until 1966 thereafter at Continental Grain, Wayne Feeds Division as the Director of Transportation until retirement. He practiced law in front of the Interstate Commerce Commission. He enjoyed being involved with the fourth Sunday parking lot duty group at the First United Methodist Church of Downers Grove. Beloved husband of Guindoline Neely; loving father of Thomas (Nancy Rea) Walters and Sherri (Steven) Jepsen; devoted grandfather of Sean Jepsen, Stacy (Jason) Maddox, Michael (Sonya) Jepsen, Jessica Walters, and Sarah Jepsen; cherished great-grandfather of Leila, Bryanna, Eli, Archie, Sydney and Journee. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. A double memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 North Court Street, Marion, IL from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm.
