Anthony McAlister

Marion-Anthony McAlister, 72, passed away at 12:18 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Anthony was born on July 4, 1941 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to James and Virdie (Bowman) McAlister. Anthony was a sales associate at Wal-Mart for many years and he was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: sisters, Edith Benson, Betty Knutson and Beulah Wilson and brother, Richard McAlister. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is handling arrangements.
