Her life was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and most importantly, family. She was an active member of the church and her community, as well as the central point around which family gathered for many years.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, her brothers Raymond, Lawrence, Trecil, and Billy Frey, as well as her sister Helen (Frey) Shadowens, her husband Jim, her son Bud, and her great-grandsons Michael Van Emery and Brennan Quertemous.
She leaves behind her children Steve and Haley, her sister Jesselyn (Frey) Hart, her brother-in-law Bill Shadowens, nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, with one on the way.
Her viewing and service will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion and she will be buried alongside her husband and son at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Due to the COVID-19 virus, the service will be limited to immediate family only, but will be live-streamed on her son-in-law Charles Koehling’s Facebook page.
