Anna Lavonna Vinson

Chester-Anna Lavonna (Deere) Vinson, 72, passed from this life at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, Illinois on Monday, October 28, 2013 surrounded by family and friends who loved her. She was born on December 28, 1940 to Raphael and Sadie (Jenkins) Deere.  Lavonna married Ralph “Junior” Vinson on July 11, 1958 and had two children; Pamela Schuchert and Bradley Vinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Alvin Deere and Eddie Ray Deere and one sister, Mary Eggemeyer. Lavonna is survived by her loving husband, Junior; daughter Pamela Schuchert and husband Rob of Chester, Illinois; son, Bradley Vinson; brothers, Vdelle Deere and wife Pauline of Cambria, Illinois, Frank Deere and wife Juanita of Murphysboro, Illinois, John Deere and wife Virginia of Sparta, Illinois; sister, Cathy Lindsey and husband Carl of Murphysboro, Illinois and many close friends at Three Springs Lodge in Chester. She had worked at the Goodluck Glove Factory and was a loving housewife, sister and friend.  Lavonna touched everyone she met with her sweet spirit, ready smile and joy for life.  She will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. R.G. Null officiating.  Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery in Goreville.  Visitation will be on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
