Anna L. Karnes MARION-Anna L. Karnes, 78, of Marion passed away at 5:28 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. As per Anna’s personal wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Karnes was born June 22, 1928 in Nokomis, Illinois to Arch and Anna (Guidash) Baker. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Don Sims of Marion; daughter, Penny Patterson of Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Hausser, Cheryl Patterson-Dreyer and Amanda Bethel; and great grandchildren, Darcy Dreyer and Jaci Bethel. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Karnes was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and working around the house.
