Alta did a lot of volunteer work and was on the committee for the senior center. He made his family very proud. No greater husband, father, grandfather or great grandfather can ever be found. His heart has always been led by our Lord with his giving nature, love and kindness to all.
Alta has been battling cancer and fought to the end with complete assurance that he will again rejoice with us in Heaven as his famous words, “I will see you on the other side” still ring in our hearts with his beautiful smile and love of cooking. Jesus and family were always number one in his heart.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2pm at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Military Rites will be performed by the Marion VFW with assistance from the National Guard. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
