Marion-Barbara Diane Cole, 82, passed away at 12:05am on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Helia Healthcare in Energy. Barbara was born on October 13, 1931 in Senath, MO to Walter L. and Mary Mildred (Lewis) Ross. She married Dormand A.R. Cole on December 23, 1950 in Senath, MO. He survives of Marion. Barbara was an office worker and cashier for the K-Mart Corporation for many years. She was a member of Third Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Husband-Dormand Cole Children: Karen Gail Cole Douglas R. Cole and fiance Ann Lewis Stanley G. Cole and wife Denise Teresa C. Elston and husband Ward Six grandchildren Two great-grandchildren Brothers and sisters: Mary Louise Watson Wayva Hollis Zaida Cagle She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gilbert Ross and infant brother. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at noon at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Mark Fisher officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is handling arrangements.
