Charles A. Holmes

Marion- Charles A. Holmes, age 38, passed away at 6:30pm on Friday, August 16, 2013 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Charles was born on September 27, 1974 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Tina (Ticer) Skiles and Nobel Holmes.  He liked old cars and trucks and enjoyed attending car shows. Mr. Holmes worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his father- Nobel and Lori Holmes of Creal Springs Mother- Tina and Larry Skiles of Johnston City Daughter- Bailey Holmes Brother- Brian and Amber Holmes of Creal Springs Brother- Noah Holmes of Creal Springs Brother- Jordan Holmes of Creal Springs Nephews- Ethan and Evan Holmes Niece- Megan Holmes Several aunts, uncles, and cousins He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents- Doug and Louise Holmes and his maternal grandparents- William and Alma Ticer. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Crab Orchard with Rev. Matt Troxel officiating.  Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
