Condolences to Allen’s entire family. I have many memories from years past…as far back as grade school. Pray GOD’S Mercy and Grace be upon him. 😥

Al and I worked together at the VA Hospital. Really liked Al – he was just a great guy and hard worker. Both of us – served during the Viet Nam era and returned home to work at the VA Hospital. I worked part time and attended SIU on the GI Bill. He was a “good man” – we would deliver food trays to the old veterans, open up their milk cartons, help them with their food – and later pick up the trays and wash them in a large automatic dish washer. He served his country and served our veterans with honor. He will be missed!
