I was Marsha’s Classmate from kindergarten days at McKinely, 1953-1954, throuh our graduation from Marion High School in 1966, and I had the privilege of playing the organ for her wedding in October of 1966. Our third grade teacher Miss Mueller put our desks together in pairs, and Marsha and I were paired together much of that year. Marsha and Steve Collier were first cousins, and the next summer Alan Chamness and I rode our bicycles from West White Street to Steve’s in Scottsboro, where Aldi’s now stands, to surprise him. Marsha was there as well, and we had a great afternoon. The next year we had an “anniversary party” to celebrate that “historic” day. Those are GREAT MEMORIES. Marsha is now at home with JESUS, and if we know JESUS as our personal Saviour and LORD we’ll see her again soon. Our love, support, sympathy, and prayers are with all her family.–The Rev. R. David Reynolds, “Pastor Dave”

Marsha and I met at Marion High School and became fast friends for life! We stayed in touch & saw each other often when I came to town, even as recently as September 2017. Such a dear sweet Christian woman. She & Bill had their daughter Angie about the same time David & I started our family. So many warm and precious memories of her family including her dad, mother, grandmother, Bill and Angie. I’m happy she is in the arms of Jesus, but I will surely miss my friend.

I just had another fond memory of Marsha. Marsha, her cousin Steve Collire, and I were in Mrs. Sims’ sixth grade class at McKinely, 1959-1960, and again it was about this time of the year, February or March of 1960. Marsha and Steve may have bowled previously, but this was my first time to ever try bowling. We went out to the Marion Bowling Alley, and Marsha’s friend, our MHS’66 Classmate Janice White, went with us as well. Eighth graders Dick Stotlar and Richard Stilley were there that Saturday afternoon as well. That was a fun afternoon and a fond memory.–R. David Reynolds, “Pastor Dave”
