Always such a gentle man, our choir was blessed to have Herb with us for awhile. He always laughed that he didnt make much of a contribution. His job was to make sure Dan got there! We will miss your sweet smile and easy ways. Rest in peace, Herb. You are with God.

Our deepest sympathies over the loss of Herbert, he will be missed. I have many fond memories of him. I lived with my grandparents for a year while in high school and was on a chess team, Herbert would come by and practice chess with me. My Mother, Mildred Trumpet also sends her deepest sympathies.

We lost a great person and God gained a beautiful addition to heaven. Herb was a humble individual, fun to be around, and he always lifted you up. I still have a text message he sent me which began by saying “Hello there my good man”. I’m sure some of you have received that greeting as well. I rode many miles with Herb and we had the opportunity to work with clients. He could have handled these on his own. He was very sharp but he always felt that two heads were better than one. He wanted to provide the best service he could to those he was working with. He spoke well of his family and was very proud of his grandchildren. I only wish I could have one more lunch and visit with Herb. There is so much that I would like to say to him. The comfort we can have is that he was a true child of God.

Herb was very kind, patient and thorough in his dealings with me as a client. This past summer I visited with Herb in order to change some financial planning around. I could tell something was off with his health. He was the consummate professional through and through. I had a firm sense that he considered my interests with utmost expertise and care. I didn’t clock a lot of time with Herb, but I could tell very early on that he was a class act. Needless to say, I was saddened to hear of his passing. Herb Rowold was a good person.
