Some of my favorite high school memories revolve around hanging out at the Mayer house. Michael was loyal and a very good friend. Although it has been years, I still hold those memories close! My deepest sympathy to the entire Mayer family!

For a few year Michael “Wrest” has played Marvel Contest Of Champion in our Alliance. He was always quick to help out his fellow member. He had an uncanny knowledge of comic books. If anyone ever had a question about anything comic related he always had an answer for them. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed.

I never met Michael in person, but im honoured and lucky to call him my friend. He would always listen to what i had to say and always answer any questions i had not only the game, but he was knowledgeable about so many things.
We often say that the hour of death cannot be forecast. When we say this we imagine this hour would be in a distant future. He knew it was coming but was never angry at his situation, never angry at the world. He said he was at peace with it.
Thankyou for everything dearest friend, I will miss you but you will never be forgotten. I will be “ stargazing” and thinking of you.
My heartfelt condolences to his family, may you find solace in the fact that his suffering is done.
