Lois Krivanko, 82, formerly of Marion, Illinois went home with the Lord on December 26, 2014 at 7:30 pm near St. Louis, MO surrounded by family.

Lois was born on April 22, 1932 to Frank and Maxine (Howard) Lear. She married Robert John Allen Krivanko on November 26, 1949. He preceded her in death.

Lois was a creative, talented homemaker, seamstress, artist, cook, baker, and gardener.  She gave her children and grandchildren great memories of quilt making, crocheting, eating tomatoes straight off the vine, planting flower beds, snapping green beans, canning, building snow chickens and Grandma-isms. Not only were friends and family were blessed with her handmade treasures, but also children in Africa who heard the gospel and were given a little doll handcrafted by her.  She was born again in 1982 and attended Christian Covenant Fellowship in Carterville, Illinois.  She was kind-hearted and caring and will be deeply missed.

I remember Mrs. Krivanko as a sweet, quiet, caring mother of one of my dearest friends, Robin. I know she will be missed by many. Praying for peace and comfort for family and friends.
