MARION-Margaret Norma Marsh, 92, of Marion passed away at 1:50 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Parkway Manor in Marion.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marion with Reverend Cindy Bean. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is handling the arrangements. Private burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church; envelopes are available from the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Margaret was born March 5, 1917 in Chicago to Per and Anna (Pearson) Olofson. She married Albert Edward Mommsen on October 14, 1943 in Chicago; he preceded her in death in June of 1976.
Survivors include her son, William Mommsen of Huntsville, Alabama; and sister, Joy Ewalt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother.
Margaret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion. She was a homemaker.
