ZIEGLER–Nancy Mary Baker, 48, of Ziegler passed away at 12:45 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2009 at her residence.
With respect with Nancy’s own personal wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or Save a Pet Foundation; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Nancy was born November 24, 1960 in Elgin, Illinois to Carlos W. and Myrtle (Crosby) Baker.
Survivors include her father, Carlos W. Baker of Simpson; special partner, Kathy Pappas of Ziegler; aunts, Faye Holt, Rhudell Batey and Louise Kerley; and cousin, Mary Wright.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Nancy was an artist; she loved taking pictures of the outdoors and animals. She was loved by her many friends and will be greatly missed.
