Marion-JoAnn Lukesh, 64, of Marion passed away at 10:52 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Family members will give the eulogies. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Mrs. Lukesh was born on August 2, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Earnest and Marie (Mitchell) Kuhnke. She married James Lukesh on July 4, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, James of Marion; daughters, Marcella Marie Lukesh of Marion and Lois Ann Angone of Johnston City; son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Denise Lukesh of Chicago; grandchildren, Thomas, Joshua, Daniel and Angel Angone and Kristen and James Lukesh; her mother, Marie Kuhnke of Herrin; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bill Michael of Herrin; and brother, Edward Kuhnke of Herrin.
She was preceded in death by her father; two grandchildren; Adriana Nicole and Brian; and sister-in-law, Shirley Kuhnke.
Mrs. Lukesh was of the Methodist Faith. She was a homemaker. She loved her family and will be missed very much.
