MARION-Maxine Balla-French, 43, of Marion passed away at 2:10 AM on Friday, March 24, 2006.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held next week at Memento Funeral Home in Bonneyville, Alberta Canada. Burial will be in Iron River Cemetery in Bonneyville. Memorials may be made to the Little Egypt Art Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c\o; Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, Illinois 62959.
Mrs. French was born on March 23, 1963 in Canada to Rudolf and Gloria (Byford) Balla. She married Dr. Miles French on February 16, 1990 in Canada and he survives.
Survivors include her husband; children, Quinn Tkanna French, Stevie Jayne French, Tatianna Katherine Louise French all of Marion; parents, Rudolf and Gloria Balla of Canada; sister Myra Hammer of Canada.
Mrs. French was an accomplished artist and teacher of art. She recently graduated from the “Nail Academy” in Marion.
She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
