William Franklin Walker
MARION-William Franklin `Frankie` Walker, 15, of Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Marion, passed away at 3:43 AM, Friday, July 2, 2004 in Paducah, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant `Poordo` Cemetery. Frankie was born on March 11, 1989 in Herrin, Illinois to Frank and Djuna (Watkins) Walker. Frankie attended Marion Elementary and Junior High Schools and Reidland Middle School in Kentucky. He played on the team that won the World Series in 2001. Frankie enjoyed baseball, fishing, riding motorcycles and electronics. With a smile that would light up a room and charisma that was hard to come by in a young man, `That was our Frankie`. Survivors include his mother, Djuna; his father, Frank; his sister, Stephanie; grandparents, Diane and Al Ziemak and Bill and Delrae Walker; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many many friends throughout Illinois and Kentucky. On the day of the accident Frankie`s good friends, Chuckie Ryan and Matt McDonald were with him. Chuckie also passed way and Matt is recovering in the hospital. Young Frankie will be missed by all for eternity.
