MARION–Clayton Howard Rogers, 50, of Marion passed away at 2:40 PM, Friday, July 2, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
With respect to Clayton’s own personal wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Clayton was born May 17, 1960 in Murphysboro to James Wilson and Vera (Qualls) Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine (Samples) Rogers; son, Joshua Clayton Rogers; daughters, Hayley Christine Rogers and Allison Brooke Rogers; step-daughters, Abbie Lynn Norman, Mollie Marquee Samples and Emilie Rose Walker; his parents James and Vera Rogers; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Timothy Williams; brother, James “Sam” Rogers; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Christine Kachelhoffer.
Clayton formerly worked for the City of Marion in the Water Department. He enjoyed Bass fishing. He loved his children and he will be missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Todd Nolan for his caring friendship.
