Bob was a very good friend and a huge supporter of musicians and the local music scene. I can remember many, many good times with Bob. In the early days of playing in a band, Bob let us play at his cabin a few times to a packed house. It was literally jam-packed. Everyone having a great time – a wonderful memory. I’m deeply saddened that he won’t be there when I make my annual trip to southern Illinois this year. Rest in peace old friend. I will miss you.
